You may encounter the call outcome with code 23 when reviewing the Call Records of your IVR system. This call outcome code corresponds to Other Progress Tone, and it is displayed when the routing network is unable to connect to the destination's network.
The known causes for this issue are:
- There is a fault at the destination's carrier network.
- There is a fault on CallStream's carrier network.
If you found that the destination number is valid and in good working order (i.e calls to that number from a different phone system, landline, or mobile are connected successfully), the issue is on our side and needs to be reported to our carrier. Create a support ticket describing the issue you are experiencing and attaching a copy of the call logs with the Other Progress Tone call outcome.
Once it has been confirmed that the destination number is valid and in good working order, report the issue to BCH.
