This article provides information about a behavior experienced by users of the UC-One application, where calls are not received in the application and they are redirected to another number.
There are multiple call routing configurations in the Broadcloud hosted phone system that may cause inbound calls to be redirected to another number. When this happens, the UC-One application (mobile or desktop) being used will sometimes not ring and another number, that has been previously specified, will receive the call instead. If you are experiencing this issue, it is possible that any of the following features have been enabled:
- Broadworks Anywhere.
- Call Forwarding.
- Remote Office.
To stop experiencing this behavior, make sure these features have been disabled as described in Disabling Broadworks Anywhere, Disabling Call Forwarding, and Disabling Remote Office. If the issue persists, reach out to CallStream support and describe the issue in as much detail as possible. Indicate which features have been disabled.
