Overview
This article provides information about quality issues with ITF lines and how to report incidents.
Information
Through CallStream's inbound numbers service, customers can acquire international toll-free (ITF) numbers from more than 100 countries worldwide. Inbound calls to an ITF number are forwarded internationally to another phone system that could be anywhere in the world.
Echos or other line quality issues, such as poor audio quality, noises, crackling, static, etc., in an International Toll-Free (ITF) line, can be caused by a fault in the carrier's network. These issues can result in being unable to hear callers or correctly capture DTMF tones when using the PCI module within Nucleus to capture payments over the phone. If you are experiencing these, or any other issues with your ITF line, reach out to CallStream support. Make sure to include the following information when reporting an incident:
- A detailed description of the issue you are experiencing.
- The line/number associated with the issue.
- At least 3 call examples containing the issue.
<supportagent>Report the issue by creating a support ticket with Daisy/Digital Wholesale Solutions. Relay any information from Digital Wholesale Solutions to the customer as well as from the customer to Daisy using the appropriate channels.
