Overview
If you have forgotten your Business Portal password or want to update it for security reasons, you or your company administrator can reset it. This article describes the steps to accomplish this.

Note: The credentials used to access the Business Portal are not the same credentials used to access the Cisco Webex app. Refer to Resetting Cisco Webex Password From Business-Portal for more information.
Prerequisites
- Company Administrator role or Employee role in the Business Portal.
Solution
Administrator

To access the customer's business portal:
- Log in to the Business Portal.
- Navigate to the Companies section.
- Search for the customer by Company Name.
- Click on the Select option for the company in the results section.

- In the Business Portal, navigate to the Sites tab and select the correct site.
- Navigate to the Employees tab, locate the user that needs their Business Portal password reset, and click on Select.
- Navigate to Profile
- Input a new password in the New Password field taking into account the following rules:
- The password must be at least 8 characters.
- It must include at least 1 number, 1 uppercase alphanumeric character, 1 lowercase numeric character, and 1 symbol.
- Enter the same password in the Confirm Password field.
- Click on Save.
Employee
- Log in to the Business Portal.
- Go to the My Account tab.
- Select Portal Login in the Password to Change dropdown.
- Input a new password in the New Password field taking into account the following rules:
- The password must be at least 8 characters.
- It must include at least 1 number, 1 uppercase alphanumeric character, 1 lowercase numeric character, and 1 symbol.
- Enter the same password in the Confirm Password field.
- Click on Save.
Testing
When the changes have been saved, a success message will be displayed at the top of the screen. Once the new password has been set, the user can verify if it was updated correctly by logging in to the Business Portal with the new password.
