Overview
You can block calls from scammers or any other unwanted callers from the WHC Business Portal. This article describes the steps to accomplish this.
Prerequisites
- Administrator access to the Business Portal.
Solution
<supportagent> To access the customer's business portal:
- Log into the Business Portal.
- Navigate to the Companies section.
- Search for the customer by Company Name.
- Click on the Select option for the company in the results section.

- In the Business Portal, go to the Sites tab and select the correct site.
- Navigate to Features > Management.
- Click on Configure for Calling Plans.
- Navigate to the Digit Strings tab.
- Click on the Add option.
- Enter a Name for the unwanted caller and their number in the Digit Pattern field.
Note: You can block multiple numbers at the same time by using * for Wildcard Match. If, for example, you enter the number 1235678*, all numbers from 123456780 to 123456789 will be blocked.
- Click on Save.
- Navigate to the Incoming Calling Plans tab.
- Locate the digit string created in Step 6 by its Name.
- Select the Block option from the dropdown list.
- Click on Save.
Testing
Once the changes have been saved, a success message will be displayed at the top of the screen and incoming calls from the specified numbers in the Digit String will be blocked.
